BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in Gwynn Oak that left a man injured.
According to police, the shooting took place at around 7 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Ingleside Avenue.
Upon arrival, they located the victim with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. An initial investigation indicates the victim was outside when a verbal altercation ensued between him and the suspect, who pulled out a gun and shot him.
The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening wounds.
