Police are urging Pikesville residents to secure their homes at all times.
The alert comes after reports of four residential burglaries and one attempted burglary since October 31.
Baltimore County Police say each incident took place in the daytime in the Pickwick area.
In each case the rear doors or windows were forced open.
Homes in the following neighborhoods have been victimized:
10/31/18: Burglary in the 2700 block of Woodcourt Road
11/06/18: Burglary in the 2400 block of Willow Glen Drive
11/08/18: Burglary in the 6700 block of Laurelwood Avenue
11/08/18: Attempted Burglary in the 2900 block of Oakton Court
11/13/18: Burglary in the 6700 block of Chelwood Road
Police are asking anyone who observes suspicious activity to call 911.
