WHITE MARSH, Md. — Baltimore County Police are currently searching for a shoplifting subject who assaulted a police officer in White Marsh.
At around 1 p.m., officers were notified that someone was shoplifting at Boscovs in White Marsh Mall. In the middle of being detained, the shoplifter assaulted an officer and escaped into a wooded area.
Officers are currently searching in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard.
The officer was not injured during the incident.
