Baltimore County Police say that the man who was stabbed at the parking lot of Maria's Carry Out in Parkville Thursday evening was targeted.

Investigators looked into the incident and were able to determine that the 36-year-old stabbing victim was in the parking lot entering his car late that evening around 9:30 p.m.
They say the suspect then entered the parking lot through a hole in the fencing and grabbed the man's cell phone from his hands and threw him on the ground.
The suspect stabbed the man in the leg and reached into one of his pockets, and began to look through the victim's car as if he was looking for cash, but found nothing. That's when the suspect fled the scene going towards Beverly Avenue.
Police say the suspect was a described as a tall black man wearing a white and red shirt with colored pants and a baseball cap.
