Police are looking for four teenaged girls who carjacked and assaulted a pregnant teacher in a parking lot at Villa Cresta Elementary School Friday afternoon.

"It’s not something that happens here you never picture it happening but you can’t tell anymore," said Donald Pickle, whose grandchildren go there.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m.

According to Baltimore County Police Spokeswoman Jen Peach, four teenage girls entered the school and acted as if they were going to register a student. They later assaulted the teacher and stole her black Kia Sportage.

"I know Parkville is getting worse so I guess anything is possible in today’s society," parent Gail Clampet, told WMAR2 News.

Two of the teens drove away after the assault in the silver sedan they came in that had a Virginia license plate, the other two drove away in the teacher's 2013 Kia Sportage.

"What kind of a person does it to anybody? A desperate person probably on things they shouldn't be using," said Clampet.

The teacher, in the early stages of pregnancy, wasn't hurt but went to the hospital to get checked out.
