NOTTINGHAM, Md. — Residents of a Nottingham apartment complex are very upset after they reported seeing a racial slur written on the side of one of their buildings.

Police say they received a call for service around 8:30 a.m. Thursday for the incident.

The threats written on the side of the building at 3 Dunhaven Place said, "N-word will die".

"We are angry, hurt, scared, and at this point feel helpless," said DeVonna McCauley, a member of the community.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
