Baltimore County Police are investigating two separate shootings that took place on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The first shooting was just after 5 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dunran Road in Dundalk. Police say two groups of people were passing and speaking to each other. During the exchange, things escalated and a man from one group shot a man from the other group.
The victim was able to flag down a ride and was taken to a fire station in Baltimore City, where he was given initial treatment and then taken to a hospital. Officials say the man has a life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body, and they are still trying to collect information on the two suspects that left the scene.
The second shooting was around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Fairbrook Court and Helmsley Drive in Woodlawn. Police were called to a hospital in the area after a man walked in with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
Police are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
