ESSEX, Md. — Police say a 21-year-old woman was shot in the upper body early Saturday morning.
According to reports, the woman was dropped off in the back of a home in the 100 block of Kingston Road when she was shot at least once in her upper body. She suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect(s) fled the area before officers arrived, but detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crime Unit are continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone who may have information concerning this shooting is asked to call police at (410) 307-2020.
