WESTMINSTER, Md. (WMAR) — A juvenile was taken into custody on Sunday after allegedly pointing a gun at passing vehicles on a Westminster roadway.
Just after 2 p.m., Maryland State Troopers were called to the area of MD 140 - Taneytown Pike and Pleasant Valley Road.
Upon their arrival, troopers located the juvenile and placed him into custody. It was later found that the weapon was a BB gun.
The suspect was ultimately referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
No one was reportedly injured.
