A burglar stole jewelry and coins during an early morning break in at the Westminster Antique Mall, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies were dispatched to the mall at 433 Hahn Road for a reported commercial robbery alarm at 4:41 a.m. Tuesday. Responding deputies found the door to the mall open. Inside, two glass display cases had been broken into, from which numerous coins and pieces of jewelry were stolen.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot tall man weighing about 215 pounds and wearing a facemask, and white pants, shoes and a jacket. He was also carrying a duffel bag.
