SYKESVILLE, Md. — Maryland State Police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Sykesville early Friday morning at knife-point.
Police say they were called to the 7-Eleven at 2033 Liberty Road just after midnight after reports of a man with a knife entering the store and accosting a clerk. The suspect reportedly directed the clerk to the register and demanded money.
After getting the money, police say the man ran away to a nearby parking lot towards the east side of 7-Eleven where an unknown car was waiting.
The suspect is described as a white man, unknown age, approximately six feet tall, 150-180 pounds, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, a mask covering the lower half of his face, light blue jeans, dark colored shoes, and blue latex gloves.
