A Westminster bank was robbed shortly after noon Thursday, Westminster Police said.
An unknown man walked into the Farmers & Merchants Bank at 275 Clifton Blvd., approached a teller, brandished a handgun, and conducted a bank robbery. The man then fled on foot. He remains at large.
The man was described as black, being short to average height, of medium build, wearing a charcoal colored "flat cap" with a multicolored shirt, dark colored shorts, white socks and dark athletic shoes.
No employees were injured during the robbery, and the amount of cash the robber escaped with has not been disclosed.
