ELKTON, Md. — The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting early Thursday in Elkton.
At about 2:30 a.m., deputies were sent to the Winding Brook development for a report of gunshots. While deputies were at the scene, they were notified of a gunshot victim receiving treatment at Union Hospital.
Investigators determined the victim was driven to the hospital “by private auto” after being shot in Winding Brook. Information about the victim was not released.
