ELKTON, Md (WMAR) — Police need help finding a suspect on the loose who allegedly assaulted and robbed a clerk inside a store.
The incident happened on Sunday at around 7:15 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Rt. 279 in Cecil County.
The Sheriff's Office says an armed masked suspect entered the store and assaulted the clerk with a knife. The male subject then stole cash and other merchandise before fleeing in a dark colored Chevy, driven by an accomplice.
Detectives believe the get away car was either a Cruze or Malibu model.
The suspect is thought to be around 190 pounds and 5'10" - 6'1" tall.
