Police arrest man wanted for Fletchwood Community Park triple shooting

Police have arrested the man that they believe was responsible for a triple shooting that happened on April 21 that left one man dead.

On Thursday, at about 12:30 p.m., Cecil County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Jalil Tyrese Miller, 19, of Elkton, Md., about the deadly triple shooting that happened at Fletchwood Community Park. Investigators were contacted by Miller’s lawyer, who told them that his client was at his office. Members of the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team arrived at the lawyer’s office to arrest and transfer Miller to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators then served the outstanding arrest warrant to Miller and charged him with 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, two counts of 1st degree attempted murder, two counts of 2nd degree attempted murder, two counts of 1st degree assault, two counts of 2nd degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
