Bel Air teen charged with setting a porta-potty on fire

BEL AIR, Md. — An 18 year old has been charged with lighting a porta-potty on fire in Bel Air earlier this month.

According to police, on July 9 at 12:50 a.m., Harford County Sheriffs Office discovered the remains of the burned porta-potty and requested the Office of the State Fire Marshal to investigate.

Following the investigation, Deputy State Fire Marshals identified Christopher Tyler James as the suspect.

He was charged with 2nd Degree Arson, Malicious Burning 2nd Degree, and Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000.00.
