Help needed in solving at least 21 thefts, burglaries in Fallston

FALLSTON, Md. — The Harford County Sheriff's Office needs help solving a string of neighborhood thefts and burglaries.

Officials say they're investigating at least 21 incidents from August 8 to October 3, in Fallston.

The crimes have occurred in the Pleasantville, Oakmont, Harvest Hills, Brandywine Farms, and Round Acres communities.

In 18 of the incidents, victim's reported having property stolen from their vehicles. Several of the vehicles also reportedly had their windows busted out.

On one occasion, a suspect was caught by a witness digging through a car in the 2500 block of Port Lane. When the witness approached, the suspect assaulted them with pepper spray.

The Sheriff's Office says they're also looking into a report of one home burglary and another attempted break-in around the area during the same time frame.

Right now investigators aren't sure if all the incidents are related.

Some photos have been released related to at least one of the incidents. Though hard to see, detectives are hoping they can help give them some leads in the case.
