On November 11, around 9:30 a.m. Havre de Grace Police were called to the 200 block of Washington Street to help medics with a patient suffering from a reported deep cut wound.

Officers at the scene then noticed that the 61-year-old man's wounds were not cuts but rather gunshot wounds.

The man was later identified as Jeffrey Mark Couden and was transported to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced dead from his injuries on Wednesday.

An autopsy performed by the Chief Medical Examiner's office determined that Couden's death was a homicide.

Havre de Grace Police continue to investigate the incident.
