Howard County Police are offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the March 28 shooting death of a 27-year-old man in Columbia.
Police responded to the 5400 block of Old Tucker Row for a reported shooting at about 5:21 p.m. Thursday, where they found Ronald Carolina Jr., of Columbia, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Howard County General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said witnesses described multiple male suspects approached Carolina. Those witnesses then heard multiple gunshots before seeing the suspects flee the area. Detectives are continuing to investigate and determine if there are additional suspects to pursue.
