Police in Howard County say they shot at a man who attempted to ram his vehicle into patrol officers but neither the man nor the officers were injured.
Howard County Police said in a statement that they responded to the 3100 block of Burgess Mill Way in Ellicott City on Friday evening for a report of a burglary in process involving a male suspect threatening to harm himself. Police say when they arrived they found a man sitting in his vehicle and attempted to get him to exit the vehicle.
Police say that the man refused and accelerated, driving directly at officers. Police say that's when officers fired at the vehicle.
