Officials are now offering a $2,500 reward for information regarding the shooting that took place Sunday inside the Ellicott City Walmart shooting.
Howard County Police have been investigating after a man was shot inside the Walmart store in Ellicott City around midnight.
According to police, officers were called to the store in the 3200 block of N Ridge Road for a report of shots fired inside. When they arrived, they found a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators found the man was shot inside the store during a fight. The suspect went out to a car in the parking lot, got a gun, and fired multiple shots towards the store.
No one was hit by the additional shots.
The man who was initially shot was rushed to Shock Trauma for treatment.
Witnesses told police the suspect ran away; he is described as a 20-25 years old man, six feet tall with a thin build.
