Maryland State Police have charged a 56-year-old man with multiple counts of distribution and possession of child pornography.
This comes after an investigation by the Internet Crime Against Children (ICAC). They charged Manabu Nagase with 10 counts of distribution and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
Nagase is pending being seen by a District Court Commissioner at this time.
The investigation started in August after the ICAC received information about someone actively downloading multiple images of child pornography online.
Investigators were able to find Nagase's house, and got a search warrant on Wednesday. They took his computers and related electronic equipment.
Thousands of files of child pornography were found after a forensic preview on Nagase's computer. Another preview will be done for other computers and electronics taken.
