BALTIMORE, md. — Police are investigating after five people were shot on Friday night in Baltimore. Three of them were teens.

On Friday night, at 10:14 p.m., officers heard gunshots coming from the area of Edmondson Avenue and Mt. Holly Street.

The officers began to investigate and found a 16-year-old boy with gunshot wounds to his body. He was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A short time later, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old man being treated for gunshot wounds to his body.

Investigators believe both victims were in the 600 block of Mt. Holly Street when they were shot.

About a hour and a half later, around 11:46 p.m., officers were called to the 1500 block of Division Street for a report of a ShotSpotter alert.

Officers began to investigate and found two shooting victims. The first victim is a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The second victim is a 19-year old man with a gunshot wound to his arm. Both victims were transported to hospitals for treatment.

A short time later, officers located a third victim in the area with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Investigators believe the three victims were in the 1500 block of Division Street when they were shot.
