BALTIMORE — Baltimore City Council President and nominee for mayor Brandon Scott held a news conference on the last day of early voting.

Scott appeared along with other democratic forward slate members to talk about the importance of making sure your vote is counted.

"We cannot afford to have anyone sit this election out. We know how important this election here is locally, but also nationally. We know there's going to be a lot of folks trying to stroke fears of people, trying to convince people not to vote, trying to suppress the vote. We need everybody to be present and counted in this election."

He said, if you haven't dropped your ballot off, do not put it in the mail. Take it to one of the voting centers across Baltimore.
