Looking closer: Bill would expand eye screening in Md.

Posted

The Maryland General Assembly is considering a bill called The Atticus Act.

It would require more extensive eye screening in the state.

The bill is named after a boy named Atticus, who suffered from vision problems for seven years until he was finally diagnosed with binocular vision disorder.

Atticus' mother, Catherine Carter and Dr. Jennifer Kungle from the Center for Vision Develpment in Annapolis joined us to go In Focus.
