Recess is supposed to be a fun, energetic, safe and inclusive time for all students. Unfortunately many students face bullying at recess.
Bullying at recess can result in students returning to class upset and unable to focus.
Joy Lawson is a program director with Playworks, an organization that helps teachers and schools handle bullying. She joined ABC2's In Focus to discuss how the program works and how they help Baltimore area students.
