Legal ways to bring firearms on a plane

Posted
and last updated

The government has banned laptops and other electronics on planes flying to the U.S. from certain middle eastern countries.

Here in the U.S., you cannot carry a gun on a plane, but you can legally travel with a firearm.

The proper way to have the gun is unloaded in a gun case. The ammunition may be in a box or in the clip, but must be places beside the gun, then locked in the case.

You may not have the gun in carry-on luggage and it must go in your checked baggage.
