ANNAPOLIS, Md. — On Friday, a 20-foot Christmas tree was delivered to downtown Annapolis and the holiday decorations have started going up in anticipation for the holiday season.
"Over the next 2 weeks downtown Annapolis will be transformed into a holiday winter wonderland, with the largest amount of holiday decorations anyone has ever seen in Annapolis," says Erik Evans of the Downtown Annapolis Partnership.
The Downtown Annapolis Partnership wants people to have a mental break from all the problems of the world and to be able to smile as they drive through or safely shop in Annapolis. They` also want to remind those who prefer to shop online that you can still shop local for gifts and gift cards.
According to the organization, decorating the Christmas tree will be complete on Tuesday.
