GLEN ARM, Md. — **UPDATE: The newborn goat has been recovered, and is back with her mom and sisters.
The Shine On Farm in Glen Arm reported one of their newborn goats has been stolen.
The farm posted on Facebook a picture of the newborn goat and photos from their surveillance cameras.
The farm said the 3-week-old goat was stolen around 2:16 a.m. on Wednesday and that it could die without her mother's milk.
The farm said the newborn goat is a little bigger since the photo was taken and she has been disbudded, so she will have the top of her head shaved and cauterized where her horns would have been.
She has a white tail tip and some white around her stomach and back midsection.
The farm said a family stopped by around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday trying to see the goats, and they believe the suspects could be the same people.
