BALTIMORE — Police are investigating an incident where a 60-year-old man died after being assaulted and robbed.
On Saturday August 20, around 5:40 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 600 block of South Kenwood Avenue for a report of an unarmed robbery.
Witnesses told the officers the victim was approached by a man asking for a tissue. When the victim went to give him a tissue, the suspect grabbed the victim by the shirt and pushed him against a vehicle and then to the ground.
Police say the suspect then removed the victim's wallet before fleeing the location.
The 60-year-old was taken to the Medical Examiner's office where the death was ruled a homicide on August 23.
