66-year-old man shot in the shoulder Monday afternoon in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 66-year-old man on Monday.

Police arrived at 3500 block of Greenspring Avenue for a report of a shooting at around 2:14 p.m. and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was driving in the unit block of Safari Place, located in Druid Hill Park, when he heard discharging and realized he was shot. The victim then drove himself to the 3500 block of Greenspring Avenue where police were called.
