Update:
MARC says their communications system has been restored allowing for train service to restart.
For now trains will operate on a reduced schedule. There is still no word on what caused the outage.

A system wide communication outage has forced all Friday morning MARC Train service to be suspended.
It's unclear what caused the issue and there is currently no estimated time of restoration.
The outage is impacting all three MARC lines including Brunswick-Washington, Penn-Washington and Camden-Washington.
