ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — Anne Arundel Police are investigating two armed robberies that took place within an hour-and-a-half of each other on Friday.
Officers arrived to the first robbery at the Checkers on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard at around 2 a.m. Police say the man entered the business, displayed his handgun and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene.
Officers were unable to locate the suspect and no injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a black man, 6 feet tall wearing dark clothing.
Later in the night at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to another armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Police say the man entered the business, displayed a weapon demanded cash before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported from the crime.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet 10 inches and wearing dark clothing.
