SEVERN, Md. — A Catholic private school in Severn has dismissed two of its top leaders, just two weeks after welcoming students back for the fall semester.
Archbishop Spalding High School on Friday confirmed to WMAR-2 News that Principal, Amy Cannon, and Assistant Principal of Academics, Nicholas Hondrum were no longer employed with them.
A spokeswoman refused to give a reason why, saying it was a personnel matter.
On August 31, Cannon spoke to WMAR-2 News reporter Mark Roper to talk about how things would go as students returned to school amid a pandemic.
