LINTHICUM, Md. — A scare Thursday morning at BWI Marshall Airport.

Officials say Spirit Airlines flight 696 arrived from Las Vegas at 6:18 am and was taxiing to the terminal, when it slid off into the grass.

None of the 111 people on board were injured.

Within about two hours, shuttle buses had transported everyone from the plane to their assigned gate.

Here's what the airline had to say.

"After safely landing and entering the taxiway this morning, the nose wheel of Spirit Airlines flight 696 slowly slid onto the grass while turning a corner and taxiing to the gate. All 111 Guests and Team Members are safe and were transported by bus to the terminal."
