WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Andy Harris has announced an award of more than $1 million to the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Studies on Monday.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency the award funds the UMCES to provide support for the "design, development, user experience, and content strategy of the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) partnership's web products.”
“I have always supported fully funding the Chesapeake Bay Program to protect the Bay and help sustain jobs and local communities supporting a healthy Bay environment," said Congressman Harris. "I applaud the EPA for continuing the Chesapeake Bay Program."
