BALTIMORE (WMAR) — The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care shelter is asking for help in caring for three very sick dogs.
Detective and Buddha are 4-months old, and Lady is 3-years-old. Each have been diagnosed with parvovirus.
Parvo as it's known, is a serious disease that mostly affects puppies who haven't been vaccinated.
Detective, Buddha, and Lady are each at a vet clinic receiving treatment, and have a long road to recovery.
Next weekend is BARCStoberfest, the largest fundraiser of the year for the shelter.
BARCS is hoping to meet their fund raising goal so animals like Detective, Buddha, and Lady can be treated and given a second chance to find a new forever loving home.
