Body found in rowhome after Saturday morning fire

BALTIMORE, md. — A body was found after a Saturday morning fire in Baltimore City.

At about 7:23 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of North Pulaski Street for a report of a fire.

Once there, officers were informed by firefighters of a dead man located inside of the dwelling with trauma to the body. No firefighters were injured.

The victim was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office where the death was ruled a homicide.

There is no word yet on the official cause of the fire.
