BALTIMORE — Fentanyl claimed the life of a one-year-old child earlier this year, according to an autopsy report.
Back on April 7, Baltimore Police were called to University of Maryland Hospital pediatrics for a death investigation.
The Medical Examiner's Office came back with the results on September 23, saying Demi Houwen, of the Unit block of N. Gilmore Street, had died from a mixture of fentanyl and Despropionyl Fentanyl intoxication.
Homicide detectives have taken over the case.
Police haven't announced any charges.
