PASADENA, Md. — Sit down and let me pour you a coffee out of a freshly flushed fire hydrant. Duane Mckee was 16 when he saw a HELP WANTED sign outside a firehouse. Now he’s all grown up going from the firehouse to the brew house.
After almost two years of sweat and tears, the Second Alarm Brewhouse on Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena has opened. It will be open daily from 6 a.m. till 2 p.m. Someday it will also be a pub.
For now, concentration is on all the bells and whistles and sirens and lights inside. Enough to coax you into becoming a volunteer in the fire service.
