LANDOVER, Md. — Prince George's County Police say a child was shot and killed Tuesday night in the Landover area.
According to police, at around 8:20 p.m., officers arrived at the scene in the 1600 block of Brightseat Road and found a young child with a gunshot wound.
The 8-year-old boy was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
