BALTIMORE — A deputy U.S. Marshal shot last week in West Baltimore while helping serve an arrest warrant has been released from the hospital.
A U.S. Department of Justice spokesman confirmed to WMAR-2 News that the marshal was released from Shock Trauma Tuesday morning.
The marshal, who has not yet been identified, was shot while helping Baltimore police serve an arrest warrant on a man wanted in a grocery store shootout.
The suspect was shot and killed on scene.
