TOWSON, Md — A bus full of eager basketball players left for Connecticut Wednesday morning.
The Towson women's basketball team is headed to the NCAA tournament, for the first time in history. The Tigers are 15th seed and are taking on No. 2 seed UConn.
"It's the top 64 teams in the country and we're on of those, so we've got to play like a top 64 team in the country," said Diane Richardson, Towson's head coach. "it's not a place where we just want to show up. We want to show out when we get there".
The big game is Friday at 6:30p.m.
