HARFORD COUNTY, Md. — A two-alarm fire on a Harford County cul-de-sac caused more than $700,000 in damage Friday evening.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office today said the fire on Aberdeen's Elbow Court, in the Trails at Beech Creek development, began on an outdoor patio. The cause, however, remains under investigation.

About 50 firefighters spent three hours working to control the fire, which was called in at 6:14 p.m. Jan. 13.
No injuries were reported, but about $700,000 worth of property damage was estimated.
