BALTIMORE — Several small fires broke out at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center on Sunday.
Parts of the third, fourth and fifth levels of the hospital's inpatient tower caught on fire.
Each was extinguished within minutes by Baltimore County Fire crews.
No patients or staff were injured, but some had to be relocated to different units throughout the hospital due to smoke and water damage.
Officials said the fire started in a trash room on the third floor, although no official cause was mentioned.
The hospital says they're fully operational amid the cleaning-up and repairs process.
