Five animals rescued from fire in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Five animals are safe after they were rescued from a house fire over the weekend in Northwest Baltimore.

The Baltimore City Fire Department says they were called to a home just after 7 p.m. Saturday night on Carlisle Avenue.

Firefighters say they rescued three rabbits, one dog and a cat.

The animals are now in the care of animal control.

No injuries were reported.
