FALLSTON, Md. — A Forest Hill woman is dead after a crash Wednesday evening in Fallston.
According to Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the crash took place in the 2400 block of Pleasantville Road near Buell Drive. Upon arrival, they found a two vehicle collision, each vehicle occupied by only the driver.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 79-year-old Rosemary Smart. Smart was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Martin Strunkstein, Jr. was evaluated and released by medics.
Preliminary information indicates that Smart's vehicle crossed over the center line and was struck in the passenger side front end by Strunkstein's vehicle.
Officials say at this point, there is no evidence of drugs or alcohol being contributing factors in this crash.
