FREDERICK, Md. — Police are investigating after a man's body was found in Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick.
Officers were called to the unit block of S. Carroll Street just before 6:20 a.m. Thursday for a report of an unresponsive person in the creek.
When police and rescue crews got to the scene, they found an adult male dead in the water.
Detective's at this point don't believe any foul play was involved.
The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore to determine the cause of death.
This incident is the second time a body has been pulled from Carroll Creek this year.
Back in January, a passerby called police after spotting a body along the waterway near the South East Street overpass.
