BALTIMORE — A lot of essential workers are working long hours on the front lines.
The Produce Alliance Foundation wants to make sure they are getting enough to eat to fuel those long work hours.
They donated fresh produce boxes to Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.
After every shift each employee will receive a box full of fresh fruit and veggies.
“Our staff has been amazing. So, this is an unprecedented time in our history and our staff have had to deal with sometimes three, four, five changes in policy regulation a day. What do we do? We've been having to work in new paradigm and coming up with solutions that we never even thought we'd have to get to.”
Lifebridge Health plans to work with the foundation to provide produce boxes for their other locations.
