RESISTERSTOWN, Md. — Sunday marked the 28th anniversary since Baltimore Police officer Ira Weiner was killed in the line of duty.
Each year for over the last decade, the Shomrim Society of Maryland organizes a small gathering of friends and family around Weiner's grave site at Oheb Shalom Memorial Park in Reisterstown.
Today, we joined active and retired police officers, along with members of the community to remember @BaltimorePolice Officer Ira Weiner who was shot and killed in 1992. We will never forget his service and sacrifice. @FOP3 @nationalcops
